The surface of the paper is being engraved. A groove, a deepening, where the graphite or ink is deposited in, is being created in an off-white background. Off-white, since the paper, like the line which has been just engraved on it, decay with time, and essentially they have already represented this decay. The surface of the paper is being colored with lines that converge; is being stirred, deepened. It is necessary to turn to the positive side, that of convergence, of the depth of convergences, even when the lines are diverging. Each line is a borderline, an ultra-fine one, easily modified during-its-convergences.
With this discreet sowing of paper with lines, the surface’ s limitations are set aside. The background as a distinct level or as a distinct deepening is set aside. The lines are extending and intensified in space; are indicating the limits of space. The lines are considered as multidimensional, unlimited. With this discreet sowing, under the terms of lines and their convergences, we question on the possibilities of their turn to specific directions. We ask about their duration as well as about the ways of their opening up and commitment to space. We also ask about the phenomena of repetition and the composition during-repetition.
