Over the threads of the paper, there floats the slender deck of a bridge. As traces which are equivalent to those of the deck, the pillars and cables that work together with them to support the deck are outlined against the light. Shadings of different origin and strength are also outlined against the light: shadings of the light, shadings that emerge from the floating lines – weakening them, breaking them, forcing them to collapse in the background – , as well as those hard-to-perceive shadings of the reflections of the light and of the minimal movement of the lines.
