EMCO Pavilion, Infacoma Thessaloniki International Fair | Multiple Enclosures
Further exploring the concepts of ephemeral and minimal, the stand of EMCO (a company producing floor and wall tiles, floors, fixing and jointing materials) is “set up” through the temporary opening, the temporary reversal of a course of multiple enclosures.
Two cuboids, two boxes, open up towards the interior of the stand, breaking it up. A central corridor is formed; through it, one can obtain viewing access to the content of the boxes: temporary collages (using floor and wall tiles, types of floors and relevant visual/information material) develop on the boxes’ walls under different syntax principles, and all promotional possibilities make their way from the interior of these boxes – this exhibit infrastructure – as well as from their akin extensions (laterally, on the roof and floors) as far as the exterior sides of the stand.
