“During the redevelopment of the square, parts of historical buildings and aquifers were moved, lakes, bridges and underground tunnels (traffic, public utility and cabling tunnels) were constructed, “bridges” were merged with the metal load-bearing frames of the buildings (see the Park Kolonnaden building complex on Potsdamer Platz – Tiergarten).
